Dr. Joe started his passion for dental implants in 2002 when he was a second-year dental student at Temple University. He would travel to his dental instructor Dr. Bob Brown’s practice to watch and learn more about dental implants. While in dental school, he decided to attend a dental implant training course at U.C.L.A and would travel to Los Angeles once a month to gain more knowledge and training. This fueled his love for dental implants. Dr. Joe knew when he finished dental school that he would continue his comprehensive learning to be able to solely focus on offering this great service to his patients.

Having placed over 10,000 implants and completed over 2000 All-on-4® treatments of Nobel Biocare products, Dr. Joe is recognized as a LEADer in his space by a leading manufacturer in the field of dental implants!
Before dental school, Dr. Joe attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where he received a B.S in biology and a minor in chemistry. He also received a master’s degree in microbiology and in environmental science. Dr. Joe was also on the college tennis team where he played doubles and qualified for the NCAA tournament.
Dr. Joe was the director of dental implant education at the Brighterway Clinic in Phoenix, where he mentored residents from the Lutheran Medical Center of New York and instructed the live implant training where clinicians from throughout the United States can obtain hands-on surgical training. Today, Dr. Joe is Clinical Director at Dental Hearts which specializes in helping the over 400,000 veterans in Arizona and those that have trouble affording conventional dental implant fees. Also, he is Clinical Director at Implant Education Company which trains U.S licensed dentists on live implant surgery.
Dr. Joe has placed over 10,000 implants and mentored hundreds of U.S licensed dentists on dental implant surgery. He enjoys helping patients regain function, get their smiles back, and being able to chew the foods they love.
Dr. Joe lives in Scottsdale with his wife Lauren and three children Liam, Elliot, and Portia. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and playing pickle ball.
