Glendale · West Valley
From the antique storefronts of Catlin Court to the newer streets around Arrowhead, Glendale patients have two Aria offices to choose between. Full-mouth, All-on-4® and single dental implant treatment led by Dr. Joe Mehranfar — who taught at Glendale's own Midwestern University School of Dental Medicine.
Your nearest Aria office
Glendale is wide, so the nearest office depends on where in the city you start. For Arrowhead, north Glendale and anywhere along the Loop 101, our Sun City office on N. 99th Avenue is usually the shorter drive. For the historic downtown and the 59th Avenue corridor, our Phoenix office on N. 32nd Street may suit you better. Same surgeon, same technology, same in-house laboratory at both.

For Glendale patients
Glendale is one of the older cities in the metro and it wears it well. The blocks around Murphy Park and Catlin Court — bungalows, antique shops, the Glendale Glitters lights in December — have been there since long before the Valley sprawled west. North of that, Arrowhead Ranch and the communities along the Loop 101 arrived in the eighties and nineties. West, around Westgate and the stadium, is newer again. Three different ages of city, and we see patients from all of them.
The older neighbourhoods bring the longest dental histories. People who have lived in the same house for forty years have often been with the same dentist for much of it, and when that dentist retires the continuity goes with them. We meet a lot of Glendale patients at exactly that juncture: a mouth that was managed steadily for decades, a practice that has changed hands or closed, and a problem that has been quietly worsening while they worked out where to go next.
There is a local tie here that is worth stating because it is verifiable rather than promotional. Midwestern University's College of Dental Medicine is on North 59th Avenue in Glendale, and Dr. Joe Mehranfar served as adjunct faculty at Midwestern's dental school — and before that at Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health — between 2005 and 2012. He has since taught over 1,000 U.S. licensed dentists the surgery and digital workflow behind full-arch implant treatment, and he lectures internationally for Nobel Biocare.
The other thing Glendale brings is a substantial veteran population, given Luke Air Force Base sits just west of the city. It is worth knowing that Dr. Joe co-founded Dental Hearts, a non-profit that provides dental care to U.S. veterans, and serves as its Director of Dental Implant Education. That is a fact about him rather than an offer — Aria is a private practice and treatment here is quoted like any other patient's — but it says something about where his time goes.
What all of it should mean for you practically is simple. You are choosing a surgeon who explains this procedure to professionals for a living, at an office a reasonable drive from wherever in Glendale you are starting, with the imaging done before anyone talks about a plan.
Getting here from Glendale
Our Sun City office at 18818 N. 99th Ave sits in the 85373 ZIP code, and for most of northern and western Glendale it is the closer of the two. From Arrowhead Ranch and the Bell Road corridor, Loop 101 north to Union Hills or 99th Avenue north is straightforward. From the Westgate area, Loop 101 north is direct.
If you are in historic downtown Glendale, Catlin Court or along 59th Avenue, our Phoenix office at 12320 N. 32nd Street, Suite 3 may be the easier trip — Bell Road or Loop 101 east to State Route 51. Both offices have the same surgeon, the same clinical team and the same in-house digital laboratory, so choose on convenience alone. Turn-by-turn directions to either are one tap from the map above, and if you are not sure which suits you, call or text 602-877-0429 and we will tell you.
Your first visit
Your 3D CT scan and consultation are complimentary, with no obligation to start treatment.
The same imaging we plan real surgeries with. You see your own bone and jaw on screen — not a brochure, and not an average.
Including if you've been told elsewhere that you don't have enough bone. Very few people are genuinely ruled out.
From a single implant through full-arch treatment, with realistic timelines for each — and what each one asks of you.
If you want it, before you leave, with financing shown alongside. Already holding a quote from another office? Second opinions are complimentary too.
Paying for treatment
For most Glendale patients, the short answer is no. Original Medicare (Parts A and B) states it plainly: Medicare “doesn’t cover dental services like routine cleanings, fillings, tooth extractions (removals), or items like dentures and implants.” The exceptions are narrow and hospital-based — a dental exam before a heart valve replacement or an organ transplant, for instance, or an extraction to clear an infection before cancer treatment.
Some Medicare Advantage plans add a dental benefit. Those benefits are set by the plan rather than by Medicare, and the annual maximum is usually well below the cost of implant treatment. Private dental insurance behaves much the same way: an annual maximum, a list of exclusions, and sometimes an alternative-benefit clause that pays toward a denture instead of an implant.
None of that means you are on your own. Aria does not accept dental insurance, we are out of network by design, but our team will complete the form for you to submit to your insurance carrier — and monthly financing is presented alongside your written quote so you can see the real monthly number rather than only the total. More detail: will my dental insurance cover implants? and dental implant financing and payment plans.
Glendale questions, answered
It depends where in Glendale you are. For Arrowhead, north Glendale and the Loop 101 corridor, our Sun City office at 18818 N. 99th Ave is usually the shorter drive. For historic downtown Glendale and the 59th Avenue corridor, our Phoenix office at 12320 N. 32nd Street, Suite 3 may be easier. Both offices offer the same treatment with the same surgeon — call or text 602-877-0429 and we will help you choose.
Yes. He served as adjunct faculty at Midwestern University School of Dental Medicine, and before that at Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, between 2005 and 2012. He is now co-founder and Clinical Director of the Implant Education Company and has taught over 1,000 U.S. licensed dentists implant surgery and digital full-arch workflows.
Bring whatever you have, but do not delay the appointment over it. The complimentary 3D CT scan gives us current imaging regardless, which is what treatment planning is based on. Older records are useful context and nothing more.
A complimentary 3D CT scan and consultation. You see your own bone and jaw on screen, get a straight answer on candidacy, hear your realistic options and timelines, and if you want it you leave with a written, itemized quote. There is no obligation to start treatment.
Age by itself is not a disqualifier. General health, bone and gum condition are what matter, and we assess those from your scan and exam rather than from your birth year. A large share of the patients we treat are retired.
Original Medicare does not cover dentures or implants, apart from narrow hospital-based exceptions tied to another covered medical treatment. Some Medicare Advantage plans include a limited dental benefit set by the plan. Aria does not accept dental insurance, we are out of network by design, but our team will complete the form for you to submit to your insurance carrier, and monthly financing is presented alongside your written quote.
Yes, and the second opinion is complimentary. Bring the treatment plan and any imaging you have. You will get our read on it, and the information is yours to keep whether or not you treat with Aria.
