All-on-4® Dental Implants Phoenix

Permanent full mouth dental implants in Phoenix AZ

Smiling Grandmother & Granddaughter

The All-on-4® treatment concept is a dental implant solution strategically designed for toothless jaws. If you are unhappy with your dentures or no longer want to live without teeth, it might be the right solution for you. With as little as four dental implants, the All-on-4® treatment concept can restore a complete jaw of missing teeth.

All-on-4 implants are fixed into place and act just as your natural teeth do. They allow patients to speak, laugh and eat without the fear or risk of their teeth slipping.

All-on-4 dental implants are also commonly known as "Teeth in a Day." This is because you leave our office the same day we place your implants with a set of temporary fixed upper and lower dentures. Patients love this! You wear the temporary prosthesis while your mouth heals and the dental lab completes your final set. Dr. Joe has performed thousands of implant cases and trains dentists from all over the country on dental implant surgery techniques, such as All-on-4. He is the premier dentist for the All-on-4 dental implants in Phoenix procedure.

Advantages of All-on-4 dental implants

According to the American College of Prosthodontists, approximately 40 million Americans are missing all of their teeth. Instead of dealing with ill-fitting, uncomfortable conventional dentures, many are opting for All-On-4 implants. Full mouth dental implants provide an incredible option for all, but in particular for those who are long time denture wearers and/or those who have experienced bone loss. The All-on-4 implants do not require as much bone to be present as traditional implants may.

When comparing All-on-4 implants to conventional dentures, All-on-4 implants won't slip, won't need to be replaced every 5 years and will stimulate the jaw bone to stop premature facial sagging.

Advantages of All-on-4 compared to traditional implants are All-on-4 requires fewer implants, less treatment time, most often is less expensive and more comfortable for the patient. On top of this, patients can leave the office the same day with a new set of teeth. This allows patients to begin their journey of living again!

Am I A Candidate for All-on-4 dental implants?

The best way to find out is to schedule a complimentary consult for an exam and 3D CT scan (Cone Beam Computed Tomography). This appointment will give Dr. Joe the ability to evaluate three dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone density. With this information Dr. Joe will be able to come up with a personalized treatment plan and discuss the implant restoration process from start to finish. From your initial exam and 3D CT scan, the Aria Dental Implant Center team will work with you to select from a variety of payment options.

What to expect from the procedure

Once your dentist lets you know you are a candidate for the All-on-4® procedure, the process will begin to prepare you for your surgery and delivery of your temporary prosthesis at the time of surgery.

The first appointment after your initial dental exam will be for impressions. This will allow the lab to make your temporary denture which will be delivered at the time of surgery.

This prosthesis will be screwed into your implants and temporary abutments to give you a stable temporary denture. In some rare cases, patients will not be able to receive a fixed temporary denture, and it will have to be removable during the healing process.

The healing process will take 4 to 12 months while your implants integrate into your jaw bone. Once the implants are ready for their final screwed in the prosthesis, the dentist will remove the temporary denture and take more impressions to make your final prosthesis. There will be multiple appointments to make sure the bite, fit, and shade are correct.
